Requires a JD, previous relevant experience as a litigation/regulatory lawyer in a medium to large law firm, the Securities and Exchange Commission and/or the legal department of a financial services firm. Experience in securities litigation is required; Experience in real estate law and litigation labour law is desirable Support for legal holdbacks and discovery, including IT assistance with eDiscovery Participation or representation of the legal department at various internal committee meetings Legal counsel provides legal advice and advice on a variety of legal topics to managers and teams within the company. The legal advisor typically covers a specific team within a department or location and is responsible for providing advice in their area of activity on current or future requirements.
